Palette Prototype is a knitwear-focused brand built around colour, intention, and everyday confidence. In a fashion landscape driven by speed and constant change, we take a slower and more deliberate approach. Our pieces are designed to integrate naturally into daily life while maintaining a clear and distinctive character.

Each season we develop knitwear pieces defined by thoughtful colour composition, structure, and texture. Garments that appear simple at first glance but reveal their character once worn.

The brand was founded by a Central Saint Martins knitwear graduate whose design process often begins with drawings and colour studies inspired by travel, music, and everyday environments. These visual ideas are translated into knitwear that balances artistic expression with practical wearability.

Rather than producing large seasonal runs, Palette Prototype approaches each release as a small project. Quantities are intentionally limited, allowing us to focus on detail, precision, and individuality rather than trend cycles.

Our knitwear is produced by specialised manufacturers with deep technical expertise in knit construction. From knitting to finishing, the process is carefully controlled to ensure consistency, durability, and precision.

At its core, Palette Prototype is about clothing that fits naturally into a full life - from weekday routines to spontaneous travel, late dinners, and long weekends away.
