At PALETTE PROTOTYPE, we are committed to creating knitwear that is made with care—not only for our customers but also for the environment and the people behind each piece. While we know sustainability is an ongoing journey, we take conscious steps to ensure that every collection meets high ethical and environmental standards.
Responsible Manufacturing
Every factory and manufacturer in our supply chain is carefully selected, visited, and assessed to ensure fair working conditions and responsible production practices. We work exclusively with partners who uphold strict environmental and ethical standards, ensuring that each garment is crafted with integrity.
Quality & Durability Testing
To guarantee the longevity of our pieces, we conduct rigorous lab testing for each collection. Our products are tested for:
Fibre composition of yarns
Care instructions accuracy
Colour fastness to rubbing and washing
Acid and alkaline test for colour fastness to perspiration
Formaldehyde testing (not detected)
Dimensional stability to washing (some pieces, such as our 3D knit T-shirt, may show slight variations in dimension due to their unique knit structure, but following proper care instructions can help maintain their shape. The fabric is highly elastic and stretchable, and with reasonable maintenance like steaming, these natural characteristics will not affect wearability.)
Appearance after washing (satisfactory results with negligible pilling/fuzzing)
Thoughtful Packaging
Right after manufacturing, each piece is packaged in a biodegradable zipper bag, minimizing plastic waste while keeping the garment protected.
A Small Step Forward
We acknowledge that these are just small steps, but we are committed to keeping sustainability in mind as we craft curated pieces designed for longer durability. Our goal is to offer garments that stand the test of time—both in quality and style.
